Movers

These fun, social and engaging classes are for anyone over the age of 55yrs, or who identifies as an older adult. They aim to provide the invaluable trio of movement, dance and a cup of tea. The sessions are designed to boost mental and physical health, include a chance to socialise and connect with others, but most importantly to have fun. Sessions are suitable for all levels of mobility and no dance experience is necessary.

The classes are taught by professional Dance Artist Karen Louise with wonderful & friendly Support Artists Laura Bryars & Eva Percy.

Starting in September 2017, StowMovers formed. The classes originally ran through DanceEast and were supported by Most Active Country. After the success of StowMovers, DanceEast then set up Hadleigh Movers in October 2019 supported by Babergh District Council and the Suffolk Community Foundation Pargiter Trust Fund. Karen Louise Dance has now taken over the classes.

If you’re interesting in joining these classes, please use the contact page to get in touch and register for the class.
